Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
Sasha was transgender in the early years of her high school career. Her family was there for her through the tough times, and she knew that she was capable of doing anything with music. Jim and Sasha are both song writers and are just beginning to form the official duo of music. Since then, they have appeared at various local events, such as open mics. Although The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he and Jim discussed their journey to where they are today through a short introduction clip that was played prior to their show. Sasha first started playing guitar at the age of six. Jim and Sasha spoke about their tastes in music as well as shared their stories about the first time they met. Since his father is an experienced music teacher Sasha was more able to grasp the concept. Sasha faced identity issues as a boy, even although he was a female. In a post on Instagram she shared her struggles. Jim, meanwhile, felt overwhelmed by emotion as the post explained how he was unable to stay present through the difficult moments. Sasha Allen was born as a woman. Sasha Allen is 19 in 2021. In the year Sasha was a freshman in the high school system, he announced to be transgender, and then began the transition into a male. Sasha wrote his Instagram: "I'm proud to be the third person of trans gender to have appeared on this show. I'm so grateful to represent this group of people."
